پروردگارا، عشق خودت را در من عمیق تر گردان تا در اعماق قلب خویش دریابم که عشق ورزیدن، فنا شدن و غرقه گشتنم در عشق تو، چه اندازه شیرین است. بگذار تا عشق تو با شور و اعجازی فرای وهم و خیال، بر من مستولی شود و مرا از خود اعتلا دهد. بگذار تا آواز عشق سر دهم. ای معشوق من، بگذار تو را تا بلنداها در پی آیم. بگذار تا روح من روزگار به ستایش تو سر کند و از برای عشق به وجد آید. بگذار تا تو را بیش از خویشتن دوست بدارم و خویشتن را تنها از برای تو. بگذار در اطاعت از قانون عشق که شعشعۀ توست، همۀ کسانی را که به حقیقت تو را عاشق اند، دوست بدارم.
